Burghley Christmas Fair

A four-day festive shopping fair at Burghley House with around 200 artisan stalls, food and drink, a Victorian carousel and late-night drone shows.

The courtyards and grounds of Burghley House fill with festive chalets, pagodas and marquees hosting around 200 stalls selling artisan gifts, decorations, clothes and homewares. Food and drink producers offer mulled wine, hot chocolate, raclette and crepes, while a lit Victorian carousel and helter skelter add seasonal cheer. The fair runs 9.30am-4pm on Thursday and Sunday and 9.30am-7.30pm on Friday and Saturday, with late-night shopping and drone shows at around 6.20pm on Friday and Saturday. It is run in association with the Angel Committee to raise funds for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, and tickets must be booked in advance with an arrival timeslot.
