Release the Kraken! The work of Ray Harryhausen
About
A Bristol-only exhibition of over 100 original Ray Harryhausen models, drawings and photographs displayed alongside museum treasures.
This exhibition celebrates the work of animator and special-effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen, whose creations featured in films such as Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans and The Voyages of Sinbad. Over 100 original models, photographs and drawings will be shown alongside items from the museum's own collections of archaeology, dinosaurs and natural history, exploring his inspirations and influences. It is created in collaboration with Vanessa Harryhausen, Connor Heaney and the Ray & Diana Harryhausen Foundation.
