RCS Chamber Orchestra

The RCS Chamber Orchestra performs Mendelssohn's The Hebrides and Beethoven's Symphony No.8 at Stevenson Hall under Donnie Deacon and Claudia Jablonski.

The RCS Chamber Orchestra returns to Stevenson Hall for a one-hour concert of two much-loved works. Conducted by Donnie Deacon and MMus Conducting student Claudia Jablonski, the programme pairs Mendelssohn's The Hebrides, Op.26 — inspired by his visit to the island of Staffa — with Beethoven's Symphony No.8, Op.93. The compact early-evening format makes it an accessible taste of the conservatoire's orchestral programme.
