Handblock Printing Workshop with Jesline Kirubajinie

A three-hour hands-on workshop learning traditional Indian handblock printing on fabric, printing a custom tea towel to take home.

Jesline Kirubajinie leads a three-hour handblock printing workshop exploring the ancient Indian art of printing fabric with hand-carved wooden blocks. After a demonstration of applying paint, aligning the block and pressing, participants practise on scrap fabric before choosing from a collection of over 100 traditional and contemporary blocks to print a custom tea towel to take home. The session is framed as a slow, meditative creative experience, with free parking on site.
