Botanical Lino Printing Workshop with Susan Yeates
About
A hands-on botanical linocut printing workshop with artist Susan Yeates, learning to carve and print a single-colour nature-inspired design.
Artist Susan Yeates leads a three-hour, in-person linocut workshop themed around botanical subjects. Working from leaves, seed heads and garden finds, participants translate a botanical subject into a single-colour linocut, from first sketch through carving to printing. No previous printmaking experience is needed, and all materials and tools are provided; attendees leave with a small collection of their own hand-printed nature studies. Yeates has taught linocut for over twenty years and is the author of Beginner's Guide to Linocut.
