Stories with Santa: Christmas at Oxford Castle
About
A festive family experience in Oxford Castle Prison's crypt with storytelling from Mrs Claus, Christmas crafts, a letter to Santa and a meet-and-greet with Santa.
Running from 5th to 23rd December 2026, this hour-long experience takes place in the atmospheric medieval crypt at Oxford Castle Prison. Children join Mrs Claus for Christmas storytelling, then take part in festive crafts including making a Christmas decoration, writing a letter to Santa and adding a wish to the wishing tree, before meeting Santa and receiving a small gift. The event is designed for families with children aged 3 and over, all of whom must be accompanied by an adult.
