A hands-on picture framing class in Govan where you frame your own artwork, photograph or memento using conservation-grade materials.

Frame Your Own Art is a relaxed, hands-on picture framing class run from a studio in Govan, Glasgow, for one or two people at a time. Participants bring their own artwork, print, photograph, textile or memento and are guided through the professional conservation process: choosing mount and moulding, mounting with acid-free reversible materials, mitring the frame, and cutting and fitting anti-UV, non-reflective Art Glass. The day begins at a time that suits the participant and finishes when they are happy with their work, and includes a pre-class video consultation, all tools and archival materials, lunch and refreshments, and the finished ready-to-hang framed piece.
