Tiny Sparks!

Hands-on STEM and storytime sessions for children aged 3-5, exploring museum objects through play, songs, stories and crafts.

Tiny Sparks! is a series of creative sessions for children aged 3 to 5, delivered by the museum's Early Years lead in the Play and Invent space on Floor 2. Each one-hour session takes an autumn theme — such as space, weather and seasons, light and shadow, magnets or trains — and introduces young children to the museum's STEM and history collections through play, singing, activities, stories and crafts. Sessions are unsuitable for babies and younger children unless accompanying an older attendee, and advance booking is essential.
