Spooky Season
About
A Halloween programme at the National Railway Museum featuring a ghost-spotting trail in Station Hall, free family storytelling sessions and hands-on STEM activities.
For the Halloween season the museum hosts a storytelling trail created with York Ghost Merchants, with thirty ghost figures hidden around Station Hall for visitors to spot, inspired by the collection, Victorian rail travel and York's haunted heritage. Families can join free daily storytelling sessions with a light spooky twist, explore light and shadows in the STEM Sheds, and handle real artefacts with volunteers in North Shed. Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery also gets a hands-on Halloween twist, with separate booking required for that gallery.
