Horse Experience Day Juniors (THIS IS NOT HORSE RIDING)

A ground-based horse care and training day for ages 7-11 run by Strength & Learning Through Horses, with no riding involved.

Young people spend the day with the Strength & Learning Through Horses team learning how horses think and how to care for and train them from the ground. Activities include putting on head collars, basic handling, grooming, ground-based training exercises and a competitive obstacle course. The session aims to build confidence, communication and teamwork skills and is open to complete beginners as well as those with horse experience; no horses are ridden.
