Awake Arise Scratch Choir with Neil Johnson

A three-hour scratch choir workshop led by Neil Johnson learning Awake Arise repertoire and folk seasonal favourites, ending with a pop-up café bar performance.

Neil Johnson, choir leader of Heartwood Chorus, leads a specially commissioned vocal workshop teaching arrangements of songs from the Awake Arise repertoire alongside other folk seasonal favourites. Participants need no music-reading ability, though some choir experience is helpful; the session is for ages 18+. The workshop runs 2pm–5pm, and the group performs in a pop-up performance in the café bar before the Awake Arise show on Wednesday 9 December at 6.30pm.
