About
A one-day scratch choir at Snape Maltings learning and performing Britten's A Ceremony of Carols with conductor Ben Vonberg-Clark.
This annual Snape Maltings tradition invites singers to spend a day learning Britten's A Ceremony of Carols, an atmospheric work based on ancient carols, Middle English texts and timeless chants. The day runs from 11am to 4pm under conductor Ben Vonberg-Clark, with scores provided and an informal run-through for friends and family at 3.30pm. Participants are advised to bring a packed lunch as food is not included.
