About

A weekend of half marathon and 10k trail races on the Monsal Trail in the Peak District, starting from Bakewell Station.

Runners can choose a half marathon or 10k on either or both of Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026, with races starting at 10:00 from the old Bakewell station site. The traffic-free course follows the former Midland Railway line through four tunnels and across the Monsal viaduct, with views over the Derbyshire Dales. Entry includes a bespoke medal, free photographs, and trophies and prizes for leading runners, with all abilities welcome.
