Advent Study Day

A day of talks, discussion and reflection on the Incarnation, led by Dr Andrew Hayes and Helen Stanton at Holland House.

This Advent study day explores the Christian doctrine of the Incarnation — how the church developed its understanding of the Word becoming flesh and what this means for God's saving purposes. The day is led by Andrew Hayes, Lay Ministry Enabler in the Diocese of Oxford, and Helen Stanton, Warden of Holland House. It runs from 10am to 4pm and combines input, discussion and space for reflection and prayer, with a vegetarian lunch and refreshments included.
