Queer Diary: Zine-Making (Greenwich)
About
An evening of nostalgia and crafting with the Queer Diary team, making your own queer teenage history zine at QUEERCIRCLE.
The team behind Queer Diary, the night where LGBTQIA+ adults read their teenage diaries on stage, host a hands-on zine-making session. Participants can collage fantasy prom nights, write letters to their younger selves, draw coming-of-age cartoons or simply doodle with a friendly queer crowd, all to a throwback playlist with requests taken. All materials are provided, including felt-tips, stickers, stencils and old teen magazines to cut up, along with instruction on folding a basic zine. The session runs from 18:30 with zine-making from 19:00 to 20:15, closing with a show and tell, and is aimed at adult audiences in an LGBTQIA+ centred space.
