Weekday Sewing Repair Cafe

A free weekday evening sewing repair cafe where volunteers help you mend clothes, hats and bags at St Margaret's House.

This weekday evening session of the Repair Cafe invites people to bring clothes, hats and bags for mending, with volunteers guiding visitors through skills such as sewing on buttons, hemming, alterations and repairing small holes. Participants should bring any specific fabric, thread, spare buttons or zips they need. The session is part of a collaboration between St Margaret's House, The Royal Foundation of St. Katherine and Poplar Union hosting monthly Repair Cafes across Tower Hamlets, and donations are gratefully received.
