Willow Garden Sculpture
About
A one-day willow weaving course where participants craft a garden sculpture such as an animal or abstract form with tutor Amanda Rayner.
This indoor craft course teaches willow weaving skills for making a sculpture to take home for the garden, with participants choosing their own subject — previous makes include dragonflies, hearts, foxes, chickens and pheasants. Tutor Amanda Rayner of Wyldwood Willow guides beginners and improvers through selecting suitable materials and crafting techniques. The day runs 10am to 4pm and includes teas and coffee; attendees bring work clothes, an apron, sharp secateurs and a packed lunch, and need vehicle space to transport their finished sculpture.
