A Seed Talks evening exploring Britain's lost fairy traditions through the figure of the Queen of the Fairies, tracing her story from early medieval pagan beliefs and links to the goddess Diana through to connections with saints and angels. The talk covers Scottish witches said to draw power from her, the Presbyterian Kirk's attempts to suppress such stories, and what these beliefs reveal about women, power and belief in Britain's past. Doors open at 7pm with the talk starting at 7:30pm, followed by a Q&A. The event is for ages 16+ and lasts around two and a half hours.
