3D Halley’s Comets!

A family craft workshop at Reading Museum where children decorate a 3D Halley's Comet with a dramatic skyline, inspired by the museum's Bayeux Tapestry copy.

This one-hour family session takes Halley's Comet as its theme, drawing on Reading Museum's copy of the Bayeux Tapestry in which the comet appears. Children decorate their own 3D Halley's Comet complete with a dramatic skyline. Sessions run for one hour at 10am, 11.15am, 1pm and 2.15pm on Tuesday 27 October, and booking is required at £4 per place.
