Still Glasgow
About
A free photography exhibition at Glasgow's Gallery of Modern Art exploring the city past and present through over 80 works from Glasgow Life Museums' collection.
Still Glasgow is an extensive exhibition with photography at its core, comprising over 80 works drawn from Glasgow Life Museums' collection alongside lesser-known pieces. It includes rarely exhibited photographs such as Alan Dimmick's portrait of Franz Ferdinand and David Eustace's 1993 Buskers Portfolio, plus moving image work including Roderick Buchanan's film Gobstopper. The exhibition highlights diverse perspectives on the city, including work by community groups and women artists, and forms part of a public programme celebrating GoMA's 30th anniversary in 2026.
