Repair Cafe Ferryside

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and company.

Volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought by the public, free of charge, while visitors enjoy tea or coffee and chat with neighbours. Typical repairs include bicycle maintenance, electrical appliances, computing help, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though microwaves are excluded for safety. Repairers will also show visitors how fixes are done, and more volunteer fixers are welcome to attend.
