Talk: The Nowzad Charity

A Torquay Museum Society lecture by Pen Farthing about the Nowzad animal welfare charity he founded after serving in Afghanistan.

Ex Royal Marine Pen Farthing gives a Torquay Museum Society lecture about Nowzad, the British-based animal welfare charity he founded in 2007 after returning from Afghanistan with his rescued dog, named for the Afghan town. The talk covers the charity's work, including reuniting service personnel with the animals that befriended them while on active service. The lecture is free for Torquay Museum Society Members, with the general public welcome to attend for a £5 ticket payable on the door.
