About
A Remembrance Sunday civic service at Holy Ascension Church followed by a procession led by Giggleswick and Settle Brass Band to the Cenotaph for an Act of Remembrance.
This Remembrance Sunday service honours the service and sacrifice of the local Armed Forces community, the Allies who fought alongside them, and civilian servicemen and women involved in the two World Wars and later conflicts. After the service, those wishing to join the procession meet at 10:45, with the Giggleswick and Settle Brass Band leading the way to the Cenotaph for the Act of Remembrance. The event runs from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
