Carols by Candlelight at St Mary's Church with Cream Tea

A candlelit carol service with festive readings at St Mary's Church, followed by a cream tea at the Lydiard Park Hotel.

This long-established Christmas celebration marks the Hope, Peace, Joy and Love of Advent with traditional carols and readings of festive favourites, held by candlelight in St Mary's Church. The carol service starts at 4pm, with visitors asked to arrive at Lydiard Park in good time beforehand. Afterwards, a short walk leads to the Lydiard Park Hotel for a cream tea of two scones, jam, Cornish clotted cream, and tea or coffee. Seating is open, so guests can choose where to sit.
