Festive Guided Tour of Lydiard House with Cream Tea

A festive guided tour of the decorated State Rooms at Lydiard House Museum, followed by a cream tea.

This December, Lydiard House Museum offers guided tours of the historic State Rooms, telling the story of the St John family with its colourful characters, scandals and tragedies. The Grade I listed house will be dressed for the season with traditional decorations, a real Christmas tree and foliage displays made by volunteers. After the tour, visitors sit down to a cream tea of scones with jam, clotted cream and a pot of tea or coffee. Tours start at 2pm on selected dates; visitors should arrive at the museum entrance five minutes beforehand.
