A free festive family day at the McManus with a Christmas market of local makers, family activities, seasonal café treats and a 16-foot Christmas tree.
The McManus hosts a free drop-in Christmas celebration on Saturday 5 December 2026, running 10am to 4pm. A Christmas Market spreads across the Victoria Gallery and Gothic Hall, featuring independent makers, artists and businesses from the local area, alongside festive-themed family activities throughout the day. Visitors can also enjoy seasonal food in the McManus Café, browse the museum shop, photograph the 16-foot Christmas tree, and be among the first to see the new Dundee Nights exhibition on the city's after-dark social and entertainment history.
