Epiphany Procession with Carols

A cathedral service with a procession of choir and clergy recalling the Magi's journey, marking moments when Jesus was revealed as the Son of God.

Durham Cathedral's Epiphany Procession service focuses on key moments in which Jesus was revealed as the Son of God: the visit of the Magi, Christ's baptism and the turning of water into wine. The choir and clergy process around the cathedral, dramatically recalling the Magi's journey 'from the East' to offer worship to Jesus. Incense is used at the service, and no booking or tickets are needed to attend.
