Find Out Fridays
About
Free Friday drop-in collection activities and hands-on demonstrations from the museum’s Engagement team.
The Engagement Trolley is listed every Friday during term time from 14 August 2026 to 19 March 2027, 13:30–16:00, with no sessions on 16 or 23 October, 20 November, 18 or 25 December, 1 January, and 12 or 19 February. The timetable is term-time only. Visitors can explore a different theme, hear facts and stories about the collections, handle objects, and try practical demonstrations or quick crafts. The trolley is in the Grand Gallery. On 30 October the page highlights Games and Robotics activities, with the Games Hub on Level 4 as additional activity context. The museum lists free drop-in access.
