Free; booking required for each session. Places are limited to 25 per session. Designed for people living with dementia and their relatives, friends, carers and supporters.
About
Relaxed, bookable museum sessions for people living with dementia and those close to them, with themed activities and refreshments.
Five currently published sessions take place 10:30–12:00 in the Seminar Room on Level 4 of the Learning Centre. Each session explores a different museum theme through curator talks, object handling and creative crafts; tea and cake are provided. The room is lift-accessible, and staff can meet visitors in the Entrance Hall. Booking is required for each date; booking opens one month before that session. Places are limited to 25 per session.
