'Interplanetary' Craft Workshop

A free hands-on space-themed craft workshop for children aged 6+, making 2D and 3D planets from cardboard, paint, collage and weaving.

This 90-minute workshop invites children aged 6+ to explore space and time travel themes through making. Using cardboard as a base, participants create 2D and 3D planets decorated with paint, collage and mixed-media materials, adding texture with simple weaving techniques. The session emphasises teamwork and shared storytelling, culminating in a large collective artwork to be displayed at the arts centre. Up to 15 places are available, and each free child ticket allows one adult to attend.
