About
A hands-on children's history session exploring Viking raiders, with stories, artefacts and making a clay longboat.
Part of the Hands On History series, this interactive session invites children aged six and over to travel back to the time of Viking raiders. Participants discover stories of battles and glory, investigate artefacts and learn historical facts, then create their own Viking longboat from clay. Two sessions run on the day, and adults accompanying paying children attend free.
