Adult Beginner+ Pointe — Wednesday at The Place

A gradual adult pointe class for participants preparing for pointe work or developing foundational pointe technique.

Sessions start with pre-pointe exercises for ankle strength, stability and placement, then use warm-up and beginner barre work and gradually add basic centre exercises. The publisher says exercises may be adapted and requires at least a year of ballet experience, current weekly practice and teacher approval; fitted pointe shoes are not a prerequisite.
