About
A free object-handling session exploring Glasgow pub history from the 1930s to 1960s, with scent boxes, archive images and film clips.
This drop-in session takes visitors on a tour of Glasgow's pubs through objects from the late Victorian era to the twentieth century, including a century-old tankard, quiz books, games and a tin of Tam O'Shanter tobacco. Participants can sniff three pub-themed scent boxes and view archive images and film clips, including an advert for Sauchiehall Street's The Maggie pub. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
