Halloween MOC Special - Invasive Species Survey

A Halloween beach survey with Moray Ocean Community to find and remove invasive slipper limpets from the rocky shore at Burghead.

Moray Ocean Community is hosting a two-hour shoreline session on Burghead beach, meeting at 9am just down the slip from the Cable Cafe. Volunteers will go down to the rocks at low tide to look for invasive slipper limpets and help remove them. Participants are advised to wear wellies and bring waterproofs, and are welcome to bring gardening gloves and buckets to assist with removal.
