About
A free guided rockpooling session at Hopeman East Beach with Moray Ocean Community, searching the rocky shore for different species.
Moray Ocean Community hosts a two-hour rockpooling session at Hopeman East Beach, inviting participants to explore the rocky shore and see how many different species they can find. The group meets on the beach in front of the beach huts, near the sauna. Attendees are advised to wear wellies or water shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, as the shore can be slippy and uneven underfoot. The community group runs on donations and funding, and small donations such as £3 are appreciated.
