Haroun Hayward: Path through Trees

New paintings by Haroun Hayward respond to the Sussex landscape and to earlier works in the Gallery’s collection.

Hayward’s first institutional solo exhibition combines expressive marks and layered surfaces with influences from abstract painting, dance music, graffiti and South Asian and West African textiles. The work was developed after a residency with the Gallery and West Dean College.
