October Half Term Activities at Windermere Jetty Museum
About
Halloween-themed half term family activities at Windermere Jetty Museum, including spooky Cumbrian storytelling, fish-mask crafting and the Animals! performance.
Windermere Jetty Museum hosts a Halloween-themed programme across October half term. In the Boathouse on Tuesday 27 October, visitors can hear strange and spooky Cumbrian tales including the Tizzie Whizzie, at 10.30am and 2pm, included with museum admission. A free drop-in fish-mask crafting activity runs in the Learning Centre on Saturday 24 and Monday 26 to Friday 30 October, 11am–3.45pm. The half term closes on 31 October with Animals!, an interactive family performance with songs and audience participation in which Buzzard, Rabbit and Porpoise ask for help exploring how humans can be better neighbours to wildlife; suitable for ages 6+, running about 60 minutes.
