About
A daring new work of physical theatre exploring apocalyptic visions and the psychological crisis of a doomsday cult.
The award-winning ensemble Groupwork present this physical theatre piece. Inspired by a 1954 study on cognitive dissonance, it reimagines the events surrounding history’s first UFO doomsday cult. The characters prepare for salvation by flying saucer, leading to a profound psychological crisis when their faith begins to fracture.
