Philosophy of the World

In Bed With My Brother present a three-act biopic-style show about cult band The Shaggs, blending tribute, feminist reclamation and dance.

In Bed With My Brother attempt to wrangle the story of The Shaggs — a band ridiculed then revered — into a three-act biopic that is part tribute act, part feminist reclamation, part rambling flight of ideas. The show explores fate, freewill, power, patriarchy and who gets to define a person's legacy. It features mime, high-intensity dance, stage combat, cheap wigs and jump scares, and carries content warnings for violence, nudity, mental health references, smoke, strobe and loud noise. Ages 14+, under 16s accompanied by an adult.
