OPEN House: Bijan Amini-Alavijeh

A two-part evening workshop with artist Bijan Amini-Alavijeh exploring light, shadow and space through drawing, collage and sculpture.

Artist Bijan Amini-Alavijeh leads a two-part workshop at Humber Street Gallery, with one ticket covering both sessions. The first evening focuses on mixed-media drawing and collage, using charcoal, graphite, tissue paper and foil to create layered, atmospheric landscapes inspired by light, shadow and nature. The second session moves into three dimensions, with participants using wire, tracing paper and cardboard alongside torches and projections to build sculptural forms that gradually transform the gallery into an installation. No prior drawing or making experience is needed.
