An autumn stroll with a Forestry England ranger
About
A seasonal walk following Ober Water with Forestry England ranger Richard, noticing autumn fruits and leaves as the forest moves towards winter.
Starting from Whitefield Moor Car Park, this roughly 90-minute walk follows part of the Ober Water area. Forestry England ranger Richard will point out seasonal changes and explain how this part of the New Forest is managed. The fairly easy route includes uneven ground and mild gradients. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on leads; please bring bags. Places are limited to 18 and booking is through the Eventbrite ticket page. Adult tickets cost £5 and under-18s go free. Forestry England car-park charges apply separately.
