Flamenco with an Apron – Masterclass

A one-hour flamenco masterclass with Maika exploring the apron (mandil) as an expressive accessory, open to all levels.

This masterclass teaches how to use the mandil (apron) as a playful flamenco prop, coordinating it with arm work, footwork and rhythm, particularly in tangos and bulerías. Guided exercises and a short choreographic sequence draw on technique Maika learned from maestra La Lupi in Jerez. All levels are welcome, with exercises adapted to experience; participants may bring their own apron or borrow one. The session runs 13:00–14:00 and bookings are handled by Danceworks.
