About

Explore the Jewellery Quarter’s role in both world wars on a themed tour of the preserved Smith & Pepper workshop.

A guided visit examines local munitions work, bombing, migrant workers, women and the experiences of a silversmith soldier and the Smith & Pepper family. The guide demonstrates original machines used for munitions production from 1942. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes; places are limited and pre-booking is recommended.
