Battle of Britain Tour

A 60-minute guided tour of the RAF Museum Midlands' Battle of Britain aircraft collection, including the world's oldest surviving Spitfire.

An expert-led 60-minute tour exploring the legacy of the Battle of Britain, a turning point in the Second World War. Visitors get up close to the world's oldest surviving Spitfire and compare British and German aircraft including the Hurricane, Gladiator, Defiant, Messerschmitt Me 109 and Junkers Ju 88. The tour also tells the stories of 'the Few' who defended Britain from the Luftwaffe in 1940. It is recommended for ages 11+, limited to 15 people per tour, and runs on select days of the week at 12.30pm.
