Saturday Guided Tours of Southwell Minster

A guided 75-minute tour of Southwell Minster exploring 1,000 years of history, architecture and stained-glass, including the restored Chapter House.

Guided Saturday tours take visitors around all areas of Southwell Minster, including the Chapter House, which reopened in late 2021 after a £2.2m National Lottery Heritage Fund conservation project. The tour covers the building's architecture, stained-glass, Roman plaster and Saxon origins. Tours last 1 hour 15 minutes, are limited to 15 people, and booking is essential; an optional Archbishop's Palace and Palace Gardens tour is available on certain dates.
