The Festival of Remembrance The Civic Trowbridge

A Festival of Remembrance at The Civic Trowbridge featuring the wartime play Wiltshire at War with music, readings and reflection in aid of military charities.

The Festival of Remembrance returns to The Civic Trowbridge with the theme A Legacy Remembered, honouring those who served through music, readings and moments of reflection. Its centrepiece is Wiltshire at War, a new production written and directed by Joanna Jolly based on true Second World War stories from across the county, following five characters from Land Girls and WAAFs to American airmen, SOE operatives and Wiltshire soldiers. Popular wartime songs performed by Adrienne Hale and The Steeple Belles are interwoven with the play. All proceeds go to military charities and seating is unreserved.
