Scrooge: A John Prior Abridgment of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'

A festive abridged performance of Dickens' A Christmas Carol staged in Insole Court's historic Library as a fundraiser.

Richard Berry stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in this abridgment of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by John Prior Morris, who also appears as Dickens. The performance follows Scrooge's encounters with the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. It runs across several dates in the intimate Victorian setting of Insole Court's Library, with a bar open before each performance and optional pre-ordered mulled wine and mince pie.
