Coventry Women Through History: Legacy, Impact and Change
About
A drop-in day celebrating women who shaped Coventry, with guided tours, object handling, costume activities and displays across two museums.
This special day celebrates women who have shaped Coventry and influenced the wider world, spanning historical figures, local pioneers, artists, campaigners and influential women in 1980s music. Activities include guided tours on women's history at both Coventry Transport Museum and the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, object handling, a costume corner for trying on costumes, and learning about women in the music scene. Historic photographs and documents from Coventry Archives will be displayed alongside copies and interpretation panels.
