Play Reading: Attagirls by Stewart Ross

A staged play reading of Stewart Ross's Attagirls, celebrating the women pilots of the World War II Air Transport Auxiliary.

Canterbury Commemoration Society presents a reading of Attagirls, a play by Stewart Ross honouring the often-forgotten women pilots of the World War II Auxiliary Air Transport, whom Lord Beaverbrook described as soldiers of the struggle as much as those on the battlefront. The play was commissioned by MT Productions and first performed at the 2020 Theatre on the Coast Festival in Southwold. The reading runs about two and a half hours, and a script is sent to everyone who books.
