About
A free drop-in sonic installation built from the words of Black Caribbean boys about their experiences of education, literature and identity.
This sonic installation draws on Dr Keisha-Ann Stewart's PhD research into Black Caribbean boys navigating the English literary canon. Built from the direct words of Black Caribbean boys using composite storytelling, it explores experiences of literature, identity, belonging and education. Visitors can drop in any time between 8.30am and 5pm, and two Listen & Share sessions each day (12.15pm–1pm and 1.15pm–2pm) offer shared listening followed by informal conversation about the stories and the questions they raise.
